At the Community Foundation for South Central New York, they believe philanthropy knows no age and no income level.
But when they wanted their marketing materials to reach donors of different ages and different income levels than their typical target audience, they called Riger. That’s because they knew appealing to a younger demographic would take a fresh perspective and a few new tools in their marketing toolbox.
Riger quickly got to work writing, editing, and coordinating a new mobile version of the Foundation’s website donorswhocare.org, complete with finger-swiping slideshows and call/email connectivity. Riger also wrote and designed an at-a-glance brochure/self-mailer tailored to a younger audience with small-cap titles, succinct step-by-step copy, and the smiling faces of twenty- and thirty-something philanthropists.
