In this day of Constant Contact and digital touchpoints, many people are asking, “What is the best frequency at which to send out a newsletter?”.

Our answer: The best time to send out a newsletter is when you have something of value to share. If that’s once a month, send a monthly newsletter. If that’s twice a year, so be it. Quality over quantity should always be the mantra.

Because let’s face it – there are three reactions to an email: read now, read later, or delete.

“Read later” can also be translated as “not reading later, but will see it three months from now, feel guilty for not reading it yet, but still delete and it and pretend I didn’t get it.”

Aim for the first category with quality content and a respect for your readers’ time.
