Tanglewood embarked on a capital campaign to build a Treetop Walkway, a unique opportunity to explore nature from a new perspective. They asked Riger to write and design this direct mail piece to engage potential donors, including those on a Riger-sourced acquisition list.
Elmira College reached out to Riger when it was time to promote Elmira Everlasting, the college’s annual day of giving. This direct mail piece’s simply written message about what Elmira College has meant to a female hockey player student helped pull on alumni donors’ hearts and drive ROI up.
Sometimes you just have to change up the old black-and-white letter! For UHS Foundation, the Riger team suggested a more colorful and interactive annual appeal with stories that were revealed more and more with each unfold. We also segmented the mailing’s donor groups with both a personalized letter and gift array suggestion to drive maximum donations.
Connecting with donors during the holiday season is a key element to Community Foundation for South Central New York’s fundraising strategy. In 2023, the Foundation hired Riger to reimagine the style of their holiday annual appeal, to which we added more color, a photo of the fundraising team, photos of those impacted by the Foundation’s work, and recipient personalization. This engaging physical mail experience was then followed up with a matching eblast reminder.
