Sometimes you just have to change up the old black-and-white letter! For UHS Foundation, the Riger team suggested a more colorful and interactive annual appeal with stories that were revealed more and more with each unfold. We also segmented the mailing’s donor groups with both a personalized letter and gift array suggestion to drive maximum donations.
Connecting with donors during the holiday season is a key element to Community Foundation for South Central New York’s fundraising strategy. In 2023, the Foundation hired Riger to reimagine the style of their holiday annual appeal, to which we added more color, a photo of the fundraising team, photos of those impacted by the Foundation’s work, and recipient personalization. This engaging physical mail experience was then followed up with a matching eblast reminder.
The power of multi-media frequency came through on this Sisters of Charity New York direct mail and addressable geofenced digital ad campaign combo. Imagine receiving a piece of direct mail one day, then being reminded of that mail’s message (in this case, be a sponsor of SCNY!) with a series of digital ads delivered to only computers, tablets and phones within that household for the 30 days following.
Every year, Riger designs a new theme, sponsorship guide, invitation, program, and other day-of-event materials to support the Pocono Mountains Community Fundraiser, which is spearheaded by Riger’s client Sanofi and has supported dozens of nonprofits in the Northeast Pennsylvania region.
With Riger’s writing, designing, print coordination and PR support, Family & Children’s Counseling Services held a well-attended groundbreaking event for its building expansion at 257 Main Street in Binghamton, NY. This project, which we made sure was featured on the front page of the CNY Business Journal, will help meet the region’s growing demand for mental health and addiction services.
