Every year, Riger designs a new theme, sponsorship guide, invitation, program, and other day-of-event materials to support the Pocono Mountains Community Fundraiser, which is spearheaded by Riger’s client Sanofi and has supported dozens of nonprofits in the Northeast Pennsylvania region.
With Riger’s writing, designing, print coordination and PR support, Family & Children’s Counseling Services held a well-attended groundbreaking event for its building expansion at 257 Main Street in Binghamton, NY. This project, which we made sure was featured on the front page of the CNY Business Journal, will help meet the region’s growing demand for mental health and addiction services.
When HCA wanted to focus the name of its organization more on “Helping Celebrate Abilities” instead of “Handicapped Children’s Association,” they turned to Riger for a fresh new logo that helped capture the spirit of joy felt by the individuals this great organization serves.
When the Food Bank of the Southern Tier learned it would have to purchase and retrofit a new facility for its important work in upstate New York, they looked to Riger for the creation of two brochures – one photo-centric, testimonial-heavy one for show and tell and one statistic-oriented one to leave behind for more details.
Each year the Community Foundation highlights stories and images of the good work of the community in a wall calendar. This year the report featured a trip to Finland for 12 area educators to learn what makes the Finnish education system so successful and to bring those practices home. The design focused on Danish-style bold and geometric graphics set with photos of the participants in a functional wall calendar.
